Days off : Day 3

Hellebores in the Churchyard for BikerBear's FlowerFriday challenge.


Not a perfect day off but only because it rained profusely for most of it. However, we braved the weather and carried on with our plans to drive to Church Stretton to do some shopping  and then wend our way up the big hill to the gliding Club for Mr T to drop some parachutes off and collect others for re-packing.  As we drove up we encountered the white stuff again (snow) which had fallen last night and  very heavy mist today. No photo opportunities as we couldn't see further than our noses but we stayed for lunch and then departed down the hill, still in mist so no lovely views, just the car windscreen wipers working overtime.


Back home I had a quick walk round the Churchyard and the once lovely Crocus carpet was looking very sad after all the heavy rain but I did spot this little red Hellebore braving the elements.


Never mind the weather, Day off #3 definitely beats work!
