A Quick Test

My Mother's camera (a sort of basic version of my "emergency" camera) decided to shuffle off it's mortal coil a few days ago ... so yesterday I went with her to look for a new one ...
The Canon IXUS 160 seemed like the perfect little camera for what she needs, but as with all these kind of things, she wanted me to test it out for her.
Typically, however, today was a really rotten day weather wise, which meant that an indoor shot was needed ...
Luckily the flowers in the conservatory are starting to bloom nicely ...
It seems to work okay though ... (even in full automatic, which is more than likely how it's going to be operated) ... :o)
