Taking time ...

... to appreciate the sunrise this morning (although not long enough to go and put the charged battery into the new camera.) It preceded a very long day but what I think was a fairly successful one. I was observed twice which felt a little excessive but our department came out well by all accounts and my students rose to the occasion which was the most important thing. No news on the final decision so we will presumably have to wait for Monday for that. A good night's sleep is required tonight and I definitely won't be witnessing the sun rising tomorrow.
