Friday the 13th

Tess appeared downstairs like this today, all comic reliefed up. She'd even painted her own face and made sure we had all donated. Far more organised than her mother. She had a mostly good day and dodged most of the bossy boots and devilish divas. Tonight's 'youf club' wasn't so carefree and while trying to compose herself and avoid being tearful in front of her peers after an accidental wee bump, she was mobbed and cajoled by the genuine and not so genuine, to the point of getting a panic attack of sorts. We've had a right good long chat together tonight.
