Mobile music

Unlike some previous years there was no spectacular outdoor evening event to close the Norfolk and Norwich Festival although Chapelfield Gardens was the venue for a big picnic during the day. In the evening people hung out in the Spiegel Garden (area outside the Spiegeltent) chatting, eating, drinking and marvelling at the skill of this guy as he gently propelled his piano on wheels around the garden whilst singing lovely gentle songs.

Great end to a very pleasant day. Glorious sunshine, perfect weather to be at Art on the Railings even though no-one made many sales. I just sold a few greeting cards but lots of people stopped by to chat including one woman who came by to introduce herself to me as she had bought several of my prints from the Art of Norwich exhibitions at St Margaret's - she wanted to meet me and tell me how lovely they looked in her home.

Our day continued to about 3am Sunday morning - we were with some chums we hadn't seen for a while.
