Catkins

They are out. It is a Corkscrew Hazel and always the first plant to show any Spring activity. Having said that the magnolia's buds look fit to burst. The first Periwinkle is out in flower and the leaves on the rose trees are starting to come out. The weeds seem to be ever present 

ps  I never realised that the bud presented a pink flower before I took this picture.
