Metaphoric Baby

How do you treat your baby? 

Do you:-
a) Give it to some old bloke with questionable fashion sense? 
b) Let something shit all over it? 
C) Just get out of the picture all together. 

Apparently Joe Tree seems to have done all three. After 10 years of blipping everyday, starting this website and nurturing this community, he just stopped without a word, on the 2nd of March. This has only just come to my attention from this forum thread. No Facebook updates, no Tweets, not a single member of staff has posted since the 3rd and e-mails and phone calls are not being answered.

Anyone know what the hell's going on?
