Mother's day

I was meant to be hillwalking in Killin this weekend but had to call off yesterday with a heavy cold /manful.
So instead of an energetic day spent a quieter one doing a bit of shopping and watching the rugby. The only excitement of the day was a text from daughters 1 and 2 saying they had not got their mother a gift for tomorrow - which posed them a problem as they are both in London this weekend. Money was duly transferred to my account and off I trooped to M and S for a bouquet for the chief. She is predictably  delighted with my  her daughters'  present .
