Sunrise in pink
The Stick Marsh is a recreational area not far from my home. Boaters and fishermen love this place. They can fish all they want but can only take 1 fish home per day. For photographers, this time of year, the Roseate Spoonbills are nesting and as they fly to pick up twigs etc for their nests, they make quite nice subjects. This was taken near sunrise. The light at this time of day really shows off their pink colors. I'm sure it won't be long before the rookery will be full of babies to photograph
