Visit to a local Deli/Farm Shop

I was feeling quite virtuous today , and fancied buying all my veg and meat from the local farm shop and butcher. I always think carrots, complete with dirt , somehow taste much nicer (washed of course !) I also bought the broken painted egg shells to add to my Easter basket , hand made mint jelly and Sussex Chutney to go with the cheeses left over from friends we had round yesterday to watch the final day of the Cheltenham festival .
Better still, I bought a new handbag in one of the village shops , and have booked an extra week in Spain in April with my winnings from Cheltenham yesterday !
Life feels good , knowing I have some sunshine to look forward to in just 5 weeks time :-)
Busy week ahead , planning for my Mum's 80th birthday celebrations . Thinking hard of something special to buy her . She's a difficult one !
