S....no...w joke!

Woke up to the sound of the local radio DJ saying that it was snowing in a nearby village, and that the village beyond that had ground to a halt! Not a good start to Friday the 13th!

Looked out of the window to see pouring rain.  By the time I left for work I had an icy windscreen, and in the next village the pavements were covered in the white stuff.  The higher I went the whiter it became, and there were cars with 2 or 3 inches of snow on top.  This one at work wasn't too bad, but it had already started to melt by then.  Strange how the weather can be so different within an 8 mile radius!
