Going, going, gone!

Crockets the Ironmongers closed in Glasgow today after goodness knows how many years. Don't know anywhere else in Glasgow that could you buy a brass door knob, equestrian equipment and a posh frying pan at the same time.

I worked there when I was 16 and met many an apprentice builder who'd been sent there for a long stand, tartan paint or left turning screws.

The windows are now full of messages from the staff but this morning they still had some of their funny signs up.
