Augmented Reality (AR) is a technology that can add virtual content such as images, video and even 3D objects to animation to the real world around you.
 
In this case it shows the whole painting process in action.
 
This is the work of Trevor Jones and it is on the cover of the free Scottish based magazine artmag, believed to be a pioneering first for any art magazine in the UK.
 
 
 Once you have the app just point your smartphone at the above image, press scan and after it has uploaded the image, a matter of seconds, it will start playing when you point it  at the above photo.
