Pennies

The big little one has thrown a penny into the pools by the Scottish Parliament and is wishing intently for something.

The little little one has already wished that she could turn into a fairy and a mermaid whenever she pleased.

The big little one is usually more altruistic.

"Mummy, if I had a magic pearl and three wishes, I would wish that grandma wasn't poorly, that you didn't have a bad back and that Catherine hadn't died".

Grandma had a cold and is fine. My back is just knackered and that is my lot. As for Catherine, that is just too horribly sad. But I wish she hadn't died too. A magic pearl would be great.
