Walked The Beat

Woke up after around ten hours sleep, the feelings anger and frustration I had after my first redundancy not present, I guess the feeling of relief that the uncertainty is now over.

A cooked breakfast before Sam and I wandered down town, a quick stop at the bank and we were ready for the Andy Hocking Memorial Walk.

They were anticipating 1,500 to 2,000 but closer to 6,000 turned up to "Walk The Beat" one last time. It was the very epitome of Community Spirit and emotionally draining.

A coffee, pasty and walk home set us up for a fish 'n' chips dinner.
Joshua is home from a very cold 'Young Leaders' Scout Camp ready for rugby tomorrow.
