Luxury!

This, dear readers, was our abode for the night, part of our suite of rooms, complete with cherubs painted on the ceiling, television in an antique armoire, shining wooden floors, and a pool somewhere - we are slightly bowled over. 

All provided for us by the Portuguese family we are staying with here in Mora - they really could not have been kinder to us. Vítor, Bia, and Debora, we will miss you.

After being in their small church, we went rattling off in an ancient UMM Portuguese 4x4 to a Dutch couple's dairy farm near the town of Lavres, still in the Alentejo region.
