For Dad

This morning we went for a really nice walk along the sounds with Bramble, and she's now by my feet absolutely tuckered out. The walk was to cheer me up a bit, as today is 10 years since my father's passing. He passed away very suddenly from pneumonia when I was 17, and there have been many, many events in the last decade where I have missed him dreadfully, including my wedding last week. One of the reasons why we decided to get married in March was to ensure that those in the family saddened by loss would have something in the month to celebrate instead.

This shot is to symbolise the fact that, even when your life has gone from this earth, your light continues to shine strong and can always be found to bring strength in times of need. Love you and miss you Daddy.
