Christmas came twice!!

I thought this was a 'Christmas Cactus' and, in fact, it has flowered at Christmas for man years.
However it is now mid March and it's done it again. Half a dozen fine blooms. Wonderful.
I don't know why it has flowered now but I just hope this isn't a sign of imminent demise. The plant has been in the house for 20 years or more and is 'parent' to a number of cuttings. I don't want to lose it to my ignorance!!
