Breakfast at Carluccio's!

We walked along the pretty canal into Stratford this morning (wide enough for a very narrow narrowboat!) and arrived on the doorstep at Carluccio's as it opened.  I was welcomed with a huge hug and kiss from the larger than life Italian Manager, and a Happy Mother's Day, wonderful!  I just had to have a hot chocolate with toasted slices of panettone, followed by crepes slathered in berries, honey and yoghurt.  Jenny also went with the panettone and she had the special muesli which also looked totally yummy, mmmm.  Good job we don't have a Carluccio's on the doorstep or I would be the size of a house!  We stocked up on fruit tarts before walking back along the pretty canal (where I took the blip) and checked out from our hotel.  What a lovely weekend with our Jen...and Becky is coming in summer, woo hoo!
