White Spotted

It has been a dull and cold day; it has also been a lazy one! I watched the first Formula One race of the season from Australia and I have done very little else. Likewise Dougal and Florence who went outside, but retuned indoors again very quickly to sleep in various parts of the house.

I took a brief walk around the garden this afternoon, looking for inspiration for my blip and came across this White Spotted Hellebores. I know that is its name as it is on the label; it seems an odd name for it as the pattern is pink! I had not seen it flowering in the garden before, but the Hellebores are doing exceptionally well this year; it has chosen to produce just one flower.
