True Grit

This morning as I passed the Battery Park in Greenock I noticed that the National Young Athletics Road Race Championship was taking place.

I managed to get in just as the under 17 women 5000m was about to start. It was freezing this morning and these girls looked cold when they started the race. I liked this shot of the leading group, the young girl with the number 255 vest came second in the race.
