Building a Nest

I went to a marina in Northern Virginia early this morning to catch the sunrise. All I got was cold air and overcast skies.  When I was walking back to the car, I heard an Osprey and then another.  I walked toward the sound and found them building a nest on a pylon about 60 feet offshore. 

I had to walk out on a floating pier to get this picture and with the wind and movement of the water, I had a bear of a time getting a focused shot.  Fortunately things quieted down just as this one prepared for landing and was able to get a couple of clear shots.
