Eleven Down, Two to Go
The sadistic streak in me again had me pointing a camera lens at the pained faces of the runners in the Alloa Half Marathon as they topped the notorious Menstrie Brae eleven miles into their run this morning. There was a great crowd out this year cheering them on though, and that did gee them all along. Still, rather them than me.
On other matters, the past twenty fours on Blipfoto have reinforced (what we all knew of course) that there's huge sense of support from blippers towards those that will be most affected if things play out the way they're looking. I'm feeling much more confident that whatever direction it takes, Blipfoto's never going to disappear completely, and the groundswell of goodwill and willingness to dig deep from members old and new is something that Joe and G should grab at as leverage to do what needs to be done. Glass half full.
Or, maybe based on today's shot, it's a marathon, not a sprint.
