Herm
Today, for Mother's Day, we went for lunch in Herm. Harry gave me a card this morning that told me that he had suggested to Nana and Grandad ages ago that we could go to Herm for the day, and they organised it. They really are the best. So wrapped up in winter woollies, we boarded the boat for the 15 minute journey. Even in the wind, it is still just a lovely place to visit. We went to the shop first, only if you've been to Herm with children will you fully understand why! Then for a walk over the top to St Tugal's church. A tiny, lovely chapel with really pretty stained windows. On the way, we followed the woodland path and found this lovely scene. Then back down to The Mermaid Tavern for a delicious lunch. Finally onto the beach for an impromptu game of baseball and then on to the boat home. Perfectly lovely day. Thank you
