Happy Mother's Day

Not bad for 83...

This is my Mom.  The day started with her phoning me to ask me what she should wear today...  This is just one of the ways that her vascular dementia has affected her - she is very scared to make decisions about everyday things such as what to wear, where to go, what to do and what to eat.

But I think she has enjoyed her day and she has gone home with a turkey dinner all ready and plated up for her and Dad to have for their main meal tomorrow.

I hope all mothers everywhere have had a lovely day and my thoughts go to those who long to be mothers but are not...
