On the beach

At Roome Bay this morning for a quick 2-minute beach clean.  It turned into a half-hour chat as I met a friend there and then another friend was spotted on the path and hailed down to join us.  A good old chin-wag ensued.  We are all mothers but we agreed that sometimes mothers just need a few minutes peace and quiet to appreciate their dear families more.

Both of my offspring have come down with some sort of throaty lurgy today so I'm cooking the dinner in the expectation that neither of them will actually want to eat it.  Ho hum.

If you go to the beach, take a carrier bag and do a 2minutebeachclean too! It would be very helpful if you did.
