Solar Dress Rehearsal ?

Today was such a grey and dreary day weather wise .Then out of the gloom what should I see but the above .Well aware of the dangers of the sun I set the cam, turned head away  and pointed  in a westerly direction.  It was a jackpot first time . Love the black tangled branches criss crossing it.   On the 20th it's a solar eclipse... and unless special glasses are found there'll be no viewing on my part . I wonder if this was the Sun's dress rehearsal  .....No matter what it's my blip for today as the grand event could be hidden by cloud or the famous glasses not found .
