Yeah for pancakes!
Although it's snowing again today, the transition of the seasons is evident, when the sap begins to flow from the sugar maple trees.
There is nothing that says "New England" like an old sap house, such as this one, producing maple syrup every spring.
When the temperatures are cold at night, and warm up above freezing in the day, it's perfect weather for sugaring. Soon, all of these sap houses will be filling the air with the sweet smell of maple sugar.
Mmmm........
