Motte and Bailey

Certainly a memorable and definitely unusual Mothers' Day. A run this morning before packing up The Teen for a long drive South. Was a good road trip though and we ventured out, just before dusk, to discover the castle nearby. Looks pretend in this light.
A pub meal, nearly 300 miles away from home on a Sunday night - rare opportunity will hopefully lead to a great week ahead for us both. Not looking forward to being separated tomorrow but...
