#Lent with @CAFOD: Practice what you preach

“The scribes and the Pharisees sit on Moses' seat, so do and observe whatever they tell you, but not the works they do. For they preach, but do not practice.” (Matthew 23:1-12)

Today I was at the opening of a new show at the Serpentine Gallery. There are two shows: one by Leon Golub, the other by Paschale Martine Tayou. I've included a photo from Tayou's show. In it, he reflects on pollution, and also uses objects such as plastic bags, bottles and pipes in his work.


CAFOD's current campaign, One Climate, One World, encourages us to think about how our lifestyle impacts on the planet. I found it interesting to see art reflecting on this as well. (There was a lot of this at the Serpentine's Extinction Marathon in the summer as well.) How does your lifestyle impact the planet?
