Beached

One of the hidden gems of the South coast of Iceland is this DC3 plane that crashed into the volcanic rock on one of the long black beaches. It's a bit of a nightmare to find during the day so you can imagine that at 4am in the morning it is more than a challenge to find it and off-road driving at that time of the day is a bit of fun and a bit of fear.

We were the only ones to be there which meant we could play with various lighting effects, although mother nature gave a helping hand with some quite spectacular aurora to give us another Neon display behind the wreck of the plane. 

Sometimes you need to have a bit of hardship to get the shop you want!
