Well, why not.
With all of the dissension around Blipfoto at the moment I thought why not build my own photo blog.
Not sure I'm doing it in the best way at the moment, my websites are fairly straight forward with Weebly.com, but have to think a bit about how to formulate this to make it easy to enter my photos and comments.
It won't be as much fun as Blipfoto, with my blip friends etc. but it will be a record. Plus I will continue with Blipfoto as long as it lasts, not giving up my lifetime member subscription easily!!
When I've got it built I'll post the link in my profile information. As it is the websites are there anyway.
Have a good week, and KEEP BLIPPING>>>>>>
Oh - And if you are wondering where 'Dawood Al Otaibi' comes from. When I worked with the Royal Saudi Air Force in Riyadh (hole in the ground communications centre behind the HQ) I taught a few Otaibis'. The Otaibi tribe is large and they are renowned fighters in the past. I got along with them incredibly well, ate and drank with them, was invited to their homes and when I left Lockheed, who I was working on behalf of, they slaughtered a sheep for a farewell feast, for which I was very honoured.
Anyway, they adopted me into the tribe and called me Dawood, closest there is to David which, of course, is a Hebrew name!!
