clach - Ghainmhich (sandstone)

In needed to go down to the sea , to my sunset bay at Clashach cove . `This sandstone in the quarry next door has been used in the 9?11 memorial , Sagrada Familia in Barcelona the national Museum  of Scotland and many other prestigious buildings across the world. Forged when hopeman was a Sahara like desert and creatures older than dinosaurs roamed leaving their track (still seen today). I liked this as it lets imagination run riot and it is possible to envisage any number of images in the rock. Its a useful reminder though of the scale of time.
