mothers day

Been a lovely but long day!! Went to my brothers in Surrey and had a lovely meal with all the family and of course spent the day spoiling mum! This is the card i stitched for her :)

Ended up having to stay a lot longer than we normally do though as there were major problems on the M25 at the Dartford Tunnel as an accident between a car and a lorry at 4.30pm had the traffic queueing for 10 miles until just after 9pm!! Thankfully we delayed our journey back to Essex so by the time we went through the tunnel at 10pm the roads were all clear! Much more civilised!! nearly blipped a picture from inside the tunnel but thought this card was a little prettier!!
