End of Season

Belongings are packed
Trailer is readied to go

The sun has set on the end of our season in Yuma. We've said our good-byes all around. The trailer is packed. So is the truck. Tomorrow after breakfast we want to be on the road before it heats up again. It was 33 degrees Celsius today and the same is expected tomorrow. 

We're giving ourselves 2 weeks to get home. It can certainly be done in 5 days if need be and without any great strain. We'd like it to be a leisurely trip with stops along the way. Of course, we don't know what the weather will be like as we near the Canadian border. We've got our wintery clothes handy if we should need them. 

It's five months today since we crossed the border into the US. We get comfortable in our little bubble here. We really like it. It is a sad feeling to have to pack it away until the fall.
