Lucky for some!

Adventure time! We all jumped on the bus down to ferry this morning and got our tickets. As usual we took the longest to go through US customs but then we were on the ferry and managed to get a table to do some work on the way over! We arrived in Port Angeles with pretty nice weather and went to find the hire ca, only for it to take us almost an hour to be able to rent it (they didn't want to take any of our credit or debit cards!). Our car was a cute Kia that we were all very happy with, so we loaded up and went on our way! Lunch was a quick burger (classic American food!) and then we drove up to Hurricane Ridge. It took about 45 minutes to get to the top but once we were blown over - literally by the wind, but also by the crazy amazing views! I even spotted Mount Doug and UVic!  After a hike, and lots of photos, the Kia made our way back down on our journey to Aberdeen began! The highway goes through some amazing places, past some beautiful lakes/estuaries and finally we made it to a slightly dodgy feeling Aberdeen. Our motel was pretty nice (with a very funny/depressed receptionist) and we made ourselves comfy. Because it was late and none of us were hungry after our huge lunch we just had a cereal bar and some galaxy (thanks Mum!) for tea while watching trashy TV
