RIP Millie..

My beautiful old girl Millie died today. She hadn't eaten since Wednesday evening and if you look at yesterday's blip, you can see her lying on the rockery- she was very quiet all day. I arranged to take her to the vet on friday when she wouldn't eat again. They found her heartbeat was all over the place and did a blood test which showed kidney failure. She'd been on a special diet since last April when a blood test prior to an operation to remove a small tumor on her eyelid showed up a malfunction.
We're having her cremated and will bury her ashes next to Lucky in the bottom of the garden where we planted a rambling rose..
The black Lab above with Tia is Murphy - my brother-in-law's dog who were visiting for the weekend. It'll be a quiet day Monday (when I'm writing this) when Tia is alone with just us for company.
We'll miss you my beautiful girl.. :'-(
