Book Sale

Craft sale and big book sale in the village hall today, and it was a great success.  The cafe and raffle did really well, but the books excelled themselves by bringing in £175.  All the more impressive when you know they were 5 for £2 for adult ones and 5 for £1 for children's!  

To hear the shrieks of glee from kids when their parents told them they could choose any 5 books was truly heartening!  

Soob's blip has been on my mind all day . . . I think we should adopt the song as our rallying cry!
