Magenta cyclamen
Lovely to have this vivid splash of magenta cyclamen on the windowsill in March in its little decorative pot. It is amazing to me that hardy cyclamen species and cultivars can be naturalising under trees, on banks or in a shady border along side other early-flowering woodland plants such as snowdrops and primroses. I've never tried to grow them outside.
I've used a stained glass plaque as a blue complementary backdrop for this shot to substitute for a non-existent blue sky!
