Mr Teal

I joined our local birding group this morning to see what was about locally. The first thing we saw was a mink, I didn't realise how big they were, cat size, no wonder the poor water voles have no chance.
This is one of several teal we saw today. We also saw rock pipits, curlew, bar tailed godwits, chiff chaff, reed warbler and a long tailed tit. The wheatear were expected to be seen but were a no show. I came home when they were looking at the sea birds, it was getting extremely chilly.
