Not Porty People or Places

A long working day gives way to an evening of further work here in Jakarta.

The sunset was inspiring as we were driven back to the hotel. My blip was taken from the moving vehicle dodging the swarms of scooters hurtling homewards at the end of the working day here.

Midday sun pushed the temperatures to 32 degrees and the blue sky quickly gave way to the afternoon downpour so typical of meteorological conditions in the Tropics. 

Internet connection is proving very intermittent  but it did allow me to receive the excellent news of our old friend J's safe return from his marathon voluntary shift battling  Ebola on the front line in Sierra Leone. Welcome home J, and to all your colleagues. You have all done a truly amazingly job out there.
