Looking for the sun

Sitting in Manchester city centre today there was not a cloud in the sky; lots of planes heading off taking people to all kinds of places! One of these may have been carrying son's girlfriend's parents back to LHR; met them for the first time last night; hoping I didn't let him down! When did that whole conundrum swivel 180°? It crept up on me like so many other things.
