Immense

An early start with a quick walk up Pen Y Fan.  The wind was biting and in your face, and under foot was quite treacherous but as I’ve said before and will continue to say, you feel alive when you’re in the mountains.

Settled down for a rugby afternoon then, and what an afternoon it turned out to be.  Wales beat Ireland with heroic and immense defence, Ireland really threw the kitchen sink at Wales in the second half but time after time the Welsh kept knocking them back.  It was one hell of a game!

Next up was England v Scotland and despite having numerous injuries the Scots pushed England all the way, and at one point were actually in the lead.  So this means it all goes down to the last weekend now, with three teams having a chance at the championship.  Personally speaking I can’t see past the Irish, I can’t see Wales getting a shedload against Italy, I can see Ireland beating Scotland comfortably and I can’t see England thrashing France, no matter how poor they are at the moment.  For the neutral it’s going to be another great rugby weekend!
