Holiday

It's been a long, long day - a drive to Stansted, followed by a four and a half hour flight, and then another drive across Cyprus from Paphos airport to Latchi, in the dark. But we've arrived safely at our villa, which has palm trees and a swimming pool - much more exotic than our usual UK cottages! 

The night air is mild and reverberates with the sound of marsh and tree frogs. We have a perfect view across to the Troodos Mountains, where the village lights twinkle beneath the moon. Now all we need is for the good weather to last...
