Friday 13th! What a day! Lots of niggly things happened today and many people were heard to mutter 'Must be Friday 13th!'

However, There were happy, spring-like children who raced screaming onto the field at lunchtime as I declared the 'Grass Open!' Philip always found it highly amusing that grass could be open and closed, like a shop!

Luckily, these young flowers are protected between trees in a roped area - I don't think they would survive the happy feet of 280 children!
