Nesting

Had a trip out with hubby and took camera, and nothing,
came to hand. kept the camera near to hand still nothing.
Decided to go home but stopped at Dobbies to get some plants,
left camera in car bad,bad, idea as we went round,saw those chicks
in their nest waiting for mum, so quick dash to the car for the camera.
Don't know what bird this is as mum did't appear, but was told it was black/white, can anyone help
