It was as an inside day because of the weather we found ourselves at the Christhchurch YMCA today where there is the most interesting (bordering on amazing) show of Street-art.  If you live in Christchurch and you have not been I urge you to go and look - dont worry about the dirty bit that was advertised - we never even saw it !!  The exhibition gives some history of Street art including those prominent in Nz and overseas - some very interesting works from Wongi,Yikes etc andfrom US's Banksy .  This is a very interesting exhibition not to be missed.
I make the point too that a lot of the works around Christchurch which are fabulous are disappearing as new buildings are built.
