Fred & Andy

Mass exercise at dusk

We woke a little late today and spend the remainder of the morning exploring town in the daylight and working out a plan to go and view the temples of Angkor Wat tomorrow.  Its expensive at 20 USD per person per day although if you do two days you get a third free.  We're thinking one or two days will be enough so decide to hire bicycles and do as much as we can in one day then we can go back the next if we want to do more.  There are a couple of popular loops once you are on the main site - either the small or large and it seems most people take tuk tuks to do the large but we're going to have a go anyway.

We work out which temples we want to see and mark them on a map so we have a bit of a plan as the site is huge although its only 7km to the entrance from town.  We hire mountain bikes with gears instead of the usual shopping bikes and decide we're going to aim to be there for sunrise and get some kms in before it gets too hot.

Andy is playing violin in the room so Fred heads out for a walk at dusk .  There are loads of people out exercising along the river and this mass exercise class taking place in the grounds of the Cambodian People's Democratic Party.
