The Grampians taken from Halls Gap in Australia
The post card says " The Grampians National Park runs 100kilometres in length and covers 167,000 hectares in area. The mountains are weathered sandstone ridges thrust upwards to 1000m. The park has a diversity of plant and animal life".... and many tourists. In Halls Gap there are 4 or 5 caravan parks and only about 1000 residents by the guess of it. The town has shops catering for outdoor activities, eating and generally relaxing. After our physically active week we needed a day off, sleeping and doing some laundry.
I was surprised to hear about blip....I do hope to be able to keep in touch with the wonderful people I have made contact with what ever the outcome.
