Partially grown up....

Yesterday i blipped some edible fiddleheads - and here is a link to give more information about them.....

Got all my pieces glazed and ready to go into the kiln ahead of my anticipated deadline....2pm, instead of 5 pm!!! so lunch has been had and i'm taking a nice break before i head back to the studio to unload the kiln from yesterday, let it cool off a bit, then reload it!

Finished The Paris Wife! My feelings are somewhat mixed about Papa Hemingway....he seems to have been quite a lost soul in some ways! Screwed up his marriages to 3 different women and then ended the 4th marriage with his own suicide! Strange man....but some believe he was quite brilliant...maybe i should read one of his novels!!! He and 2 other siblings committed suicide, their father also committed suicide....makes you wonder eh! The epilogue was wonderful in filling in the end of the story. Hadley lived to be 82 with a man who loved her dearly and stood by her. I'm now at that in between space - but i do have another book on CD that i can plug in tomorrow!!!
